Frequently asked questions

How accurate is this estimate?

It is a directional estimate based on published policy rates and your six inputs. It does not model GST, tax, loan, or land specifics, so treat it as a starting point, not a binding entitlement figure.

Why do some schemes show "In review" instead of an amount?

Schemes like MSLI, NEIDS GST, AIDP SGST, and the working capital and power subsidies are computed against actual filings, loan terms, or consumption data that the calculator does not collect. Surfacing a guessed number for these would mislead you, so they are flagged for a detailed review instead.

What is the UNNATI category?

UNNATI 2024 classifies every Assam district into Category A (Kamrup Metro, 20% of P&M), Category B (mid-tier industrial districts, 25%), or Category C (aspirational and lower-income districts, 30%). Your district sets the rate that drives the capital investment incentive.

Is UNNATI 2024 still open?

Yes. The registration window has been extended and is open until 30 September 2026. Once registration is granted, a unit must commence commercial production within 4 years. Note that registration can close earlier if total committed liabilities reach 115% of the scheme outlay, so earlier is safer. Register and verify current rules at unnati.dpiit.gov.in.

Can I claim all of these schemes at once?

Often, but not always. Central and state schemes are frequently additive, but UNNATI CII and NEIDS CCIIAC both provide capital investment incentive and may be mutually exclusive. The risk flags highlight where manual review is needed.

What does Nitisagar do that this calculator does not?

A verified assessment models tranche timing, computes the filing-linked schemes against your actual GST and tax records, adjudicates stacking, checks land tenure, and produces a DIC-ready file. The calculator deliberately stops short of all of that.
